page builder elements not showing/updating

I use the Vantage theme on my blog and have recently adapted all my blog pages to fit this new theme however some updates don’t show when i reload the page. I even clicked the update button a few time and checked the page but the previous version was still there.

This same problem happens with Page titles in the navigation bar. I have renamed some pages yet the home page still shows the old names and menu on the landing page. It does go back to the new one on the Blog page. For example the landing page shows a page called BLOGOSPHERE which has now been renamed Work With Me as shown when we click on the BLOG page. The About me page had been renamed ABOUT ME AND MY BLOG and made into a sub-page of the BLOG page yet the landing page with shows it as before.

Same for the blog loop on the home page. Doesn’t currently display my latest post + it only shows 2 posts while it is set up to be showing 4. Finally at the bottom right before the footer under the blog loop element, there is a READ MORE link that i can’t get rid of. I didn’t put it there it links back to the home page so it’s useless. I don’t know how to get rid of it.

Other than that the theme is bar far the best i’ve tried and i would like to purchase the premium version but those issues above are what is stopping me.

    Hi Jameela

    Thanks for your support.

It sounds like you might be running a caching plugin. Please check, if you are, the cache would most likely need to be cleared for these changes to reflect.

i do use a cache but it still took a while to get the correct updates showing.

Any idea to solve the last problem?

Some caching plugins have a setting to turn off caching for logged in users. That’s worth a look for ease of updates. Others also offer the ability to clear the cache when a page is saved. Perhaps check the plugin’s settings.

I’m not sure where the read more link is coming from. Try de-activating all plugins, at once, except for Page Builder and check to see if it disappears.
