Page Builder duplicate content in footer

Hi,

First of all I am really happy with this plugin. It helps a lot when you need to custom design WordPress Pages.
But it seems like I have an issue on one of my sites where content gets duplicated in the footer as well.

Take look at http://www.madseneqvist.com/buildertest

This is the text output
Test1 Test1 text
Test 4 Test 4 text

I have tried to disable all other plugins and other variables that could matter.
Nothing seems to work. I am running the latest version of wp4 and the latest version of the plugin. All other plugins up to date.

What am I missing?

    Hi shuttrspeed.com

It looks like the theme might be doing some unusual with widget areas. Could you perhaps temporarily switch to a default theme like Twenty Fourteen which also has a footer widget area and see if the same thing happens.

    Hi Andrew,

You might be right. When changed to Twenty Fourteen it’s looking good. No duplicate issue. But when I change back the issue is still there.

    Any suggestions?

This looks like a ThemeForest theme. In this case I’m afraid you need to raise it with the developers and see if they can track down the problem. It will most likely relate to the way that widget area is created, I can’t be sure though.

We’d be more than happy to answer any questions the developers might have or offer support from that side of things.

I see. I will raise a ticket somewhere. But thanks anyway. Really happy with the response.

For sure. Hopefully the authors will be able to take a look.

Im actually running into this same issue with my site. Any chance you were able to come up with a solution to the problem?

I too am using a ThemeForest theme so I guess that is the culprit.

Fingers crossed someone has a solution.
