Page Builder doesn’t load correctly in Vantage

Hello,

I set up the vantage theme and downloaded the page builder plugin. I have no other plugins active. When I go to the page editor page, the page builder tab doesnt appear. Instead, I see an interface below the text fields that looks like its own metabox with broken links.

Also, within appearance, Homepage, nothing loads at all.

I looked at the developer console in chrome and got the following errors:
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ILLEGAL load-scripts.php:425
Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function panels.admin.min.js?ver=1.5.3:2

When pagebuilder is deactivated, these errors disappear.

What does this mean? Any help is appreciated!

    Hi lilts520

I see you have WP 4.0 running so that’s all good. Just confirm that Page Builder is on 1.5.3. The Javascript issue you’re seeing is almost always due to a plugin conflict. Can you just confirm that you tested with no other plugins activated.

Beyond that I’m not sure. You could perhaps try re-installing Page Builder to ensure there was no corruption there.

You could also try switching to a default theme like Twenty Fourteen just to get the setup to as basic as possible.

    Thanks for the reply.

I am running all new versions of everything and have only this plugin installed. I have also tried to reinstall both the plugin and the theme multiple times.

Switching to a default theme doesn’t work either.

I have also noticed that when I have the page builder plugin installed the screen options/help menu on top doesn’t slide down anymore. (When I deactivate the plugin, the menu works again.)

Thanks for the feedback. Really hard to say what the problem might be from here. Please send through a temporary set of login details and your url to [email protected] and we’ll take a look.

** Please send everything in one email from yourself and include a link to this thread so we can reference the enquiry. Thanks. **
