Page Builder disappeared—can’t reinstall.

I updated to the new version of WordPress, but now it seems the Page Builder plugin is missing. When I try to reinstall I get a message that says:

“Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
Destination folder already exists. /hermes/waloraweb000/b1920/moo.lombadesignnet/laxmidelights/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/
Plugin install failed.”

Any recommendations? I tried to find any related folders and delete them, but I’m not sure if I’m looking in the right places, or if that is even the solution.

Thx in advance!

I am just so pleased to have figured out where to find and delete the file, and all is back to wonderful. Such an awesome plugin!! Thank you so much!!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Caroline

Sorry to hear you ran into problems with this installation. Really glad to hear you made progress and are back up and running. All the best.

(For reference: the folder you’d have to delete is /wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels you’d then try the installation again.)
