origami theme settings

Hi -I am trying to change the colour of the text of the copywright text in theme settings that comes up at the bottom of the page. I changed the background and you can hardly read the text now. I am a complete novice.
Can you change the colour of this text? Black would be ideal.
Also is it possible to add an image to sit behind the header image?

    Insert the following under Appearance > Custom CSS if you’re running Origami Premium or into your own Custom CSS plugin if you’re running Origami Free:

    /* Origami Footer Copyright Text */

#footer .copyright {
color: #fff;
}

    Edit as required.
