Order of Pagebuilder blocks on mobile

10 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 10 years ago

Hi there,

I love the Pagebuilder, but in some cases, I’d wish I could change the order of elements on how these show on desktop vs mobile. Check for example: https://fortezzajavaprofs.nl/

We have 3 blocks there with Services with left or right image + txt. Now, this should show as text + picture each time on mobile, but now you get (logically) 2 images and then 2 times text.

Is there a way to solve this? (I have tried some CSS solutions, but this does not help).

Thanks!

    Hi Jverburgt

    Thanks for your support.

Unfortunately, this isn’t yet possible from within Page Builder. I’ve marked this thread as a feature request. We often look through these threads to get ideas for what to add in our future updates. Hopefully, we’ll be able to add this in a future update.

    Hi Andrew,

I think I have a solution / workaround: I would like to add a class to a row: no-mobile, so that won’t show on mobile at all. Then create another row, that will show on mobile. Now, this should work, but I have noticed that classes that I add to my rows are not saved? See http://screencast.com/t/d6ecFDx5zW The top row class hybrid is saved, but the no-mobile class does not show anywhere in my source code?

    That’s definitely an idea.

The last field in Attributes is for CSS declarations. A declaration is made up of a property and value, like font-size: 20

So, unfortunately, you can’t use a class in that last field, you can however use a class name in the two fields above.

For a little map of where these get inserted, please, see my quick overview:
