Is your Order id the order code you need to enter in your settings on wordpress. If not where do I get the order code?

After upgrading you’ll be emailed an order code. You can then head to Appearance > Premium Upgrade from within WordPress, click Already Paid? top right and enter that order number. This will open up the premium upgrade under Dashboard > Updates.
Alternatively there is a link in your order email to download the premium ZIP file. You can then manually install using these instructions: https://siteorigin.com/basics/updating-theme-from-zip/

You’re still running the free version of Vantage. Theme upgrades whether they be within the free version from 1.1 to say 1.2 or from the free to the premium version, only replace the theme files contained in the vantage theme folder.
Are you saying that you had categories listed under Posts > Categories and after upgrading the categories were gone? Or just that the home page has been affected?

There has been 2 years worth of categories listings it was quite an extensive site with many clients. I am just now getting behind what happened. My client has done all the upgrading himself and this is the result.
Did the client perhaps do a bulk upgrade of all themes and plugins?
Are you certain the site wasn’t running Vantage, the directory theme by AppThemes?
There is an upgrade problem with both themes having the same name. We’ve let AppThemes know how to resolve this – they unfortunately haven’t done so yet.
Revert to Vantage by AppThemes (vs Vantage by SiteOrigin) and it should be resolved.
No, I doubt it there is no other plugins. Can this happen after a wordpress upgrade? I am getting more info from them as I speak to you.

It has been running a vantage theme for more than 2 years. Maybe I dont understand the question?
There are two WordPress themes available in the marketplace called Vantage.
Vantage by SiteOrigin – our theme launched in September of 2013 (so it hasn’t been around for more than 2 years)
Vantage by AppThemes: http://www.appthemes.com/themes/vantage/ (a separate, un-related company)
The WordPress update system is such that it is possible to auto-update, accidentally from AppThemes Vantage to SiteOrigin Vantage. As mentioned, we’ve sent through the necessary change AppThemes need to make, they haven’t done so yet.
