One page website – link to part of the website

By juul, 9 years ago. Last reply by Andrew Misplon, 8 years ago.

Hello, I’m starting with so2 and the Vantage theme.

I have this question. I would like to make an one-page website (scroll down from menu).

I think i have to put #section1 in editing the row and put this in the field row class.

In the menu I make a link with /#section1.

But it does not work for me.

Do you have a description or tutorial for this?

Juul

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Juul

    Sorry for the delay.

WordPress have a tutorial on this up here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/page-jumps/.

Your link should just be hashtag followed by the ID: #section1.

It’s up to you whether you want to insert your own ID’s into the content or just inspect the page source code and locate existing ID’s.

To insert links into the menu at Appearance > Menus, insert a Link item instead of a Page. In Vantage Premium our mobile menu doesn’t currently handle this but will be able to from the next update which is pending release.

    Hello,

I’m back again trying to make a website with Page Builder 2.4.4.

    I still have this problem….

I edit the row, attributes, row class: input Section1

In the menu I add a link: input #Section1

    But this won’t work.

    What am I doing wrong?

Juul, instead of roll class, you have to use row id. Take a look, there is a video from the own developer of site origin explaning how to use Page Builder to make one pages:Post: One Page Websites with SiteOrigin Page Builder
