Vantage Featured Image Size

I need to know the correct proportions for a featured image or why my image got cropped like this: http://www.zachbradshaw.co/my-first-blog-post/ . . . and im wondering whether a featured image can have its own attachment page?

    Hi Zack

    The default size for the featured image is 720 x 380. This is easy to change though. You can use the Simple Image Size plugin to change the default post thumbnail size.

    Featured images are based on images that you add to your media library, so they will have their own attachment pages. If you select the image from your media library, you’ll be able to get the URL of the attachment page.
