Not able to display text & other information from basic editor page

Hi,

First of all, a very good tool to design pages..
Though i am having issues in displaying content from the basic editor area.

Scenario is
I create a page layout with 1 row & 3 columns
all 3 columns have image widget to display image.
Now i try to use shortcodes from another plugin & display content in tabs below the images.

How do i do that.
As of now the system does not considers the text or shortcode written in the basic wp editor.
