North theme update?

I really like the North theme but after building a site for a client with unwind I realised it has more features such as the ability to add social media icons with more header options, more options to format the blog page, and separate sidebars for shop and blog etc. I am torn as I prefer the look of North but like the functionality of Unwind. Will North be getting the same features as Unwind?

    Hi,

    North is designed to be a minimal theme while Unwind is designed to be more a general them. Unwind will feature more drastic features like the different headers and archive layouts due to the focus of the theme. North will feature more subtle features overall. Does that make sense?

    I would recommend switching to Unwind if you’re after the additional features featured in that theme as they’re unlikely to be added to North.

    To clarify, the lack of a shop sidebar is actually an oversite – that’ll be corrected in the next update. In the meantime, you can use something like WooSidebars to allow for this – sorry!
