No page cloning available

Hi Andrew or Greg,

I have been trying to clone pages and have no available pages listed to clone. I have followed other threads and tried your suggestions – I tried deactivating plugins with no success. I am using pagebuilder 2.1. I tried looking for javascript errors and I got this message:

plugins.php?activate=true&plugin_status=all&paged=1&s=:22Consider using ‘dppx’ units, as in CSS ‘dpi’ means dots-per-CSS-inch, not dots-per-physical-inch, so does not correspond to the actual ‘dpi’ of a screen. In media query expression: print, not all, (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 1.25), (min-resolution: 120dpi)

What can I do to resolve this?

Thanks,
Jason

    Hi Salusps

Thanks for reaching out. Can you confirm, have you already created and saved at least one Page Builder page somewhere else? Page Builder can only clone it’s own pages which is why I ask.

    Yes I have.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the update. After clicking the Prebuilt button in Page Builder a modal window opens up. On the left is a menu, the third options is Clone Pages. Can you confirm you’ve clicked that? The first option is Theme Defined. Most themes outside of SiteOrigin won’t have anything there.

Yes, I have done that. If I click the Themes Defined button I get this message: Your theme doesn’t have any prebuilt layouts. You can still clone existing pages though. When I click Clone: Pages, I get this message: There are no Pages with Page Builder content to clone. However, as I said I have created pages already using Page Builder.

    Hi Salusps

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.

Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks @salusps this is quality feedback. Private Publishing is the issue. Mark your Private Snippet page as public, save it. You will then be able to clone it. After cloning you can save it as private again.

Or use a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-maintenance-mode/ while you’re building.

That did cross my mind as a possible problem. Easy fix then – thank you so much for your assistance!

    Hi, I Work Here

For sure, glad we could help. Thanks for raising this. I’ve logged the problem. I’m sure it’s something the development team will be able to resolve for an upcoming update.

    All the best.
