No option text or visual editor in twenty fourteen

HI!
I have had problem with my site, probably because of missing out on updates. Now everything is fresh, and I have Wp 4.9.6 and the latest update of twenty fourteen.But when I made this updates, I lost the tabs for choosing between text editor and visual. I don’t know anything about computers and programming, so i nreally need my visual editing back to be able to continue working. How do I get it back?

    Hi Guzie,

    This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

    If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

    Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    Actually, I solved it by just trying. In settings in admin panel, the box for hiding the visual composer was unmarked as it should be. But I decided to mark it for us marking later, and tried the effect in between. And when I did, the visual composer suddenly appeared. So now I am happy again!
