i apologize in advance. I have never made a page before so basically know nothing.
I am trying to use a bento theme and have downloaded & installed/activate both suggested siteorigins plugins – the widget bundle, page builder, and css but i think the css is a premium addon.
So i attempted to make a page (sample or maybe home page) I think it actually some how ended up being a “post” rather than a page but it was terrible so i deleted it ( several tries several deletes.) . In a siteorigin tutorial video it shows there is to be a “home Page” in the wp dashboard > Appearance > then Homepage. But I do not have a Home page there. in my dashboard when I click posts it says “Your site is currently displaying a “Coming Soon” page. and says No posts found. When I click in the “Pages/All Pages” it says same thing – no pages found and “Your site is currently displaying a “Coming Soon” page. Yet when I click on my ” Visit Site ” at top of my dashboard it takes to to a blank page that says : Nothing Found

So i am wondering what I can do to add back a Home Page in the dashboard > Appearance > homepage so that I can do exactly what your doing in the step by step video. Or have I totally messed everything up?
Also I was wondering if maybe it would be just way easier if I just used a siteorigin prebuilt layout, the one called beautifully baked looks very nice. But my question is: Can I change all the pictures on that prebuilt layout and use my own, same as with all the menu information, like can i erase the information on that layout in the buttons and in the menus and add my own information. thank you for your help.

I think i just posted a link to my private dashboard in my wordpress on your site. I posted a link in my support forum but the link opens up my own personal private wordpress dashboard. How can I delete this post. How can I get my private information off please help. My Post Title on your support forum is called : No Homepage in appearance/dashboard. I i copied a pasted a link off my page not found for my site and after i did that after i made my question on your forum the link turned blue and every time I click on the link in my post it opens up my wordpress dashboard page. I have signed out f my site and my wordpress dashboard. even though I sign out, when i go back into siteorigin forum and click on that link in my post – IT opens up my closed wordpress dashboard. Now everyone who clicks on that link in the forum can have open accesss to my wordpress and my webpage, Please delete my post, thank you.
HELP: i just POSTED Private Personal access information on a post. I am so new to all this. I wrote a question in the forum but when I copy/pasted infor from my not found page it actually put a LINK to my page – Both my Page and my wordpress opens up. It gives access to anyone who clicks on that link I just posted, i did not know it would do that. So I signed out of my wordpress and I signed out of my site. then I click on the link in my forum post and it is fine. BUT As soon as I sign back into my page and that Link becomes toally active again and anyone can now access my webpage and my wordpress dashboard. So can you please delete that forum post. ANd even after it is deleted. if someone has copied that page on your forum, if when i sign back into my wordpress like in a day or 2 will they still be able to gain access into my wordpress page or do i need to completely uninstall my wordpress . Because My host gator is also with my wordpress. Help can this be fixxed? or do i need to delete everything. ?

Don’t worry, that link isn’t actually an issue. To clarify, the link works for you due to having an account with the correct permissions. If you were to create a new user on your website with a low capability role, they would see an error message like this:

In summary, don’t worry – no one besides me or you saw the link and even if they had, there wouldn’t be an issue. Regardless, I’ve hidden the link for peace of mind.
Okay so to answer your question, WP AdminAppearanceHome Page will only appear for themes that add support for the custom home page functionality, which Bento doesn’t. So that’s why it’s not present.

Absolutely. I would recommend giving this video a watch to get a better idea of how to use SiteOrigin Page Builder.
