For my project, I need all of the above.

Any suggestions/recommendations on how to proceed? Is there something in Vantage to generate the above or do I add plugins? Is there anything in Vantage I should be aware of that will faclitate or hinder using the necessary changes?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Harvey

The best plugin I have found for custom Types and Taxonomies is WP Types

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/types/

This works perfectly with Vantage and also with the post loops in the Widget Bundle.

Got it. Types shows frequently and positively in many of the reviews I’ve looked at. I did want to hear from a pro about what works in Vantage.

    Thanks,

    Hi Harvey

You are welcome. We are currently putting together a Custom Types Plugin so watch this space.

Hmmm…I’m off and running with Types. Will the SiteOrigin plugin preserve what’s developed with Types or would it be neccesary to start over?

Afterthought: Custom Posts and Custom Taxonomies go hand in hand in what I’m doing, one of the reasons Types is so useful.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Harvey

It is unlikely that it would be able to read the custom taxonomy and post settings from the WP Types plugin, but it should be able to recall any entries from these custom types provided the same naming convention is followed when setting up the types in the new plugin.

    Check.
