I’ve just switched to the Vantage premium theme from another theme. The header area isn’t displaying properly and I cannot figure out how to resolve it. If you go to http://genuinecontactway.com/blog you will see that it is displaying with the logo centered in the header area and then text overlaided on top of it. The text reads:
The Genuine Contact Way: Nourishing a Culture of Leadership is produced by Birgitt Williams and the team at Dalar International Consultancy. Please visit the Dalar website to learn more about how we work ‘The Genuine Contact Way’.
This sounds like something I wrote, but I don’t know where I wrote it or how to make it go away. Can you help me to figure out how to hide this text and left align the logo on these pages?
In case it is relevant, I have removed the masthead from the homepage using this bit of CSS:
.home header#masthead .hgroup { display: none; }
Thank you!
Rachel
Hi Rachel
The text is located at AppearanceWidgetsHeader. The logo center setting is located at AppearanceCustomizeTheme DesignGeneralCenter Logo.
Hope that helps.
Thanks. That got rid of the text. The logo is still centered. How do I change it to be left aligned?
Glad to hear you’ve made progress.
The logo center setting is located at AppearanceCustomizeTheme DesignGeneralCenter Logo. You can disable it there.
