Hi There

My site is www.beachspots.com
The site is functioning on the chrome browser but on I.E and Firefox it’s showing my old crashed site. I am new to wordpress and have no idea how to fix this issue so that my site loads on other browsers. Please help

    Hi.
I recently had a very similar problem. Question, have you just recently moved your nameservers to point to a different host?

    No. Nothing changed.
My site did recently crash though. Not sure what happened for it to crash, I think some plug in corrupted the site when wordpress updated. So I built the site again with a fresh theme and fresh plugins.
On Chrome the site is showing brand new, but on IE and Firefox it’s showing my old crashed site. I have no idea how to fix it. It looks awful.

Sounds like you need to clear cache on IE and Firefox.
It’s easy, so I won’t go into detail here. If you don’t know how just google ‘clear cache Firefox’, and same for IE.

    Hello

Thank you for replying to me. I went to my internet explorer browser and fire fox browser and deleted the cache. The crashed site is sadly still displaying and looks terrible.
I don’t know how to display the new site I made. I have no idea why it’s working on Chrome and not on any other browser. Any other advice would be really helpful.

    Hi Jennaresmanager

This appears to be a caching plugin issue. My guess is that you’re accessing the site through Chrome as an admin user, which means cached versions are being skipped. Looking at your site’s HTML I can see the W3 Total Cache tag. It also looks like your HTML is trying to load stylesheets for the Enfold theme.

If you clear the cache from W3 Total Cache – you should be good to go.

You can read more about this sort of issue on the WordPress codex – http://codex.wordpress.org/I_Make_Changes_and_Nothing_Happens

    Hi There
I did not have the w3 cache plug in after my site crashed but I redownloaded it. That seems to have fixed the issue!
Thank you so much for all the suggestions everyone.

BTW, I am quite new with wordpress so I don’t quite understand what you mean by “HTML trying to load style sheets”. Is there something I need do with that to avoid future complications with my site?
