Hello,
I like using Site Origin. but recently after I update the plugin, I found my page is not full width anymore.
My website is : www.chrombit.com
And also, the page Hero is not appear if I don’t put the widget also in footer/sidebar.
I use theme Ultra from Themify.
Can you help me to solve this? Please.
Hi Tita,
This looks like it could be a plugin conflict issue as certain styling isn’t being applied. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Hi Alex,
I already tried to disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins, and nothing changed.
Then I tried to change theme, and it works. So I think it is about theme related issue.
Actually I don’t want to change theme and customize again. So please can you help me to fix this?
Hi Tita,
Hm. I think the following CSS might be able to fix this issue. If you navigate to AppearanceCustom CSS, you’ll get our custom CSS editor. Just add the following code.
You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor.
ALex,
Thank you for your help.
this code can solve for the Site origin editor section / row, but it doesn’t work for Hero row/section. And also, why now Hero in the page will appear just if I put Hero widget in footer? If I don’t put Hero in the footer, Hero in the page will not appear.
Hi Tita,
You’ve set your website to under construction so I’m unable to view the page to provide follow-up CSS.
Your theme is preventing certain functionality from working as expected. I can’t tell you why you have to make that work around, just that you’ll have to continue doing so if you continue using this theme. :(
Hi Alex,
Sorry we worked on it so we decide to set it to under construction.
And we found a way to make it fullwidth.
But I still can’t understand why Hero can’t appear properly if we don’t put the Hero in widget section (now we put it in footer but without image). And SiteOrigin Google maps also not work.
If you can solve this, please let me know.
Hi Tita,
It’s sadly something we can’t fix. :( Your theme is preventing us from adding the required CSS / JavaScript. It’s actually really quite odd it works for you when you add it as a widget but, honestly, it’s weird that this is happening at all so it’s hard to explain.
Sadly it happens after I update the plugin.
Then it is okay, I will add another map plugin.
Thank’s Alex.
