My icons have disappeared!

11 years ago · Last reply by Greg Priday 11 years ago

Hi, my icons and search and “top of page” icon are showing up as squares. What’s the deal here? I just bought vantage premium and I thought that would clear it up, but no dice.

I’ve seen this on a few different threads, but none seemed to apply to me directly. I’m not a web builder, so I’m not too familiar with code.

Thanks!

Rob

    Hi Robbie,

As far as I can tell, the problem is coming in because your site URL is http://www.vinemedia.ca while your site CSS is loading from vinemedia.ca. This missing www is a subtle difference, but this means that the fonts are being loaded from a different origin – which is blocked by some browsers.

You can read a more detailed description of this issue here – http://davidwalsh.name/cdn-fonts

If you navigate to Settings > General, can you double check that your Site URL and WordPress address are both the same? They should both be http://www.vinemedia.ca to ensure everything is being loaded from the same origin.
