Multiple footers?

My front page is already pretty heavy with images and so I want a simple footer. Other pages on the site will be much less image intensive and so the load can stand some extra widgets (Facebook calls, etc).

Is this possible?

I want two footers. One for the home page and one for every other page. I have looked around on WP and on SO and haven’t found anything that seems implantable. There are hints that Page Builder 2.0 might include support, but I can not find that… and there are hints that the theme might (drop down in theme settings, but only one footer is listed).

Thank you for any direction you can give me. I can do a minimum of PHP or page mods, if I have directions. :-)

(Using: Vantage Theme, SO Page Builder, and SO CSS.)

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi RailfanDepot

    Thanks for your question.

Have you perhaps tried using Jetpack Widget Visibility?

    http://jetpack.me/support/widget-visibility/

It adds a Visibility button next to the Save button of each widget. Give it a try and let us know how it goes. Thanks :)

Not as flexible as I as looking for… but probably workable. Thank you.

    Perhaps you’d prefer to use:

I am trying to avoid the bloated JetPack, and WooSidebars seems like overkill because your very nice SO CSS allows me to put widgets pretty much wherever I need them… so… I did find this plugin: Display Widgets, to do what you are talking about. It works, at least visually… not sure about behind the scenes as the addition of the new widget – on other than the home page – still adds a couple of calls to the home page.

    I do appreciate the help.
