Multi Line Menu Names

Hi,

I have several long menu titles that I would like to break up over two lines. I have tried using
and

in the navigation label, but this doesn’t seem to work. Any thoughts?

Regards

Aaron

    Hi Aaron

I found this one solution – http://forum.bytesforall.com/showthread.php?t=8587. The user just suggested something like the following.

    <div style="text-align:center;">First Line<br/>Second Line</div>

I’ve sent this to our team for testing. Perhaps this isn’t possible in Vantage or the current version of WordPress.

    Thanks Greg,

I look forward to hearing from you or your team on whether this will work. As I mentioned in my thread, I had seen someone recommending putting a BR in the navigation label. They seemed to think it worked, but it doesn’t in Vantage (not sure about other themes).

    Hi, I Work Here

One quick test you could try so long would be to switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Fifteen and see if it works there. It’s also possible this technique only worked on older versions of WordPress.

    Hi Greg,

I switched to a default wordpress theme (Twenty Fifteen) and adding the BR code does make the long menu title spread over two or three lines.

    Hi Mike

We haven’t been able to recreate this issue on our side. The image below is what I get when I use this technique with Vantage.

Do you have a live URL where I can see what’s going on?
