Mobile Version Showing Correctly, But Desktop Version is Not

I am not sure what happened, but all of a sudden after trying to do customizations to my website stopping reflecting correctly. The posts and pages are no longer showing the correct spacing or format, however the mobile version is showing correctly. Also the menu bar is not showing correctly. I was using CSS Hero for the customizations. My website is dailyfitnessclub.com.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Zach

My guess is that the mobile version is still cached from before you made the modifications. So you’re still viewing the old version on your mobile device.

My only suggestion would be to try undo the modifications you’ve made through CSS Hero. I’m not entirely sure how it works, but I think that CSS hero actually modifies your theme files. So you’d need to delete Vantage then reinstall it from a fresh ZIP file. You can download this through your original order email.

Deleting Vantage and then reinstalling it won’t delete the posts and pages content and information will it? Or do I need to back it up first?

No – all your content, images and theme settings are stored safely in the database, so you won’t lose any of those. The only thing you’ll lose is the changes you’ve made directly to the theme files.

That said, it’s never a bad idea to take a backup before making any changes like this :)
