Missing widgets -> fatal error when installing so-widgets-bundle

10 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 10 years ago

On my worpress site, the page http://gestalt-therapeute-coach-rennes.com/mes-liens-amis/
using SiteOrigin Panels Widgets Image is now blank, admin view says “missing widget”.
PageBuilder seem OK.
I am using Virtue Premium Theme from Kadence.
So I tried to download and install the bundle, but when activating, I get an error message :

Fatal error: Class ‘SiteOrigin_Widget_Meta_Box_Manager’ not found in /home/gestaltt/www/wp-content/plugins/so-widgets-bundle/so-widgets-bundle.php on line 494

Help !
Thanks
Thierry

    HI Thierry

Sorry to hear about the hassle. Can you please, try deleting the Widgets Bundle and re-installing. Thanks.

Sorry too, but I get the same error again. INstallation seems OK, but not activation :

Fatal error: Class ‘SiteOrigin_Widget_Meta_Box_Manager’ not found in /home/gestaltt/www/wp-content/plugins/so-widgets-bundle/so-widgets-bundle.php on line 494

Sould I desacrivate other maybe incompatible plug-ins ? (button widget, page builder legacy widget…)

OR which simple widget could allow me tu use again at least the buttons I created previously on page http://gestalt-therapeute-coach-rennes.com/mes-liens-amis/ ?

    Thanks
    Thierry

NB : I tried to replace my old buttons and use “siteorigin button” to add content in that page, but it does not display either.

    Hi Thierry

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.

Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

The Legacy Widgets plugin has, unfortunately, been retired. Apologies for the hassle. I’ve de-activated it. It would be best to delete it.

Could you, please, try reaching out to your hosts and asking them if they can set PHP memory to 256 if it’s not set to that already.

I seem to have made progress but whenever I activate the Widgets Bundle the site white screens. It’s possible that’s a memory limitation. Can you check memory limit with your hosts for us?
