First I would like to thank you for great explanation how to set up translation using Polylang. It works great on my 13 theme.
I managed to have my website translated, I’m missing though flags in translated menu. Instead of flags is language. I look all other and could not find what to do. I would prefer to have flags in any menu.
My website is build on 13 theme. Do you thing I could safely change theme to Vanage?
I’m not technically advance so please use simple explanation when you answer.
Thank you
JulaWeg

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi JulaWeg

Glad to hear you’ve been making progress. One way of adding flags to your menu would be with the following plugin:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/menu-icons/

I don’t think there are any flag icons available in the plugin but it will make it easy for you to add your own icon to a Link menu item.

Let us know if you need a further hand with this.

    Hi,
I have flags but they only show up in default menu. Translated menu has just words “English” “Polish”, no flags.
I have no idea where to and to change to get flags in both menus.
That is what I need help with, please.
see website with flags, see website without flags
Hope you will be able to help me,
    Best:)

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the further explanation, apologies for the mis-understanding. I answered a bit quickly so let me just take a step back for moment. I don’t believe we have any explanation on translating with Polylang at this stage. It’s definitely on our list though. Did you perhaps read that on another site?

We try help out wherever possible but in this case the question ideally should be sent onto the Polylang support forum. We try help out with other plugins as much as we can, in this case I’m unfortunately not sure of the answer.

Vantage doesn’t have a header image option but you can achieve a similar header by using Appearance > Customize > Page > Masthead Background.

Thank you for your answer. I will look some place else. I guess I was confused. I got this great explanation from Using Polylang with Customizr. I do not know any more who is who. Have to go back to them, but any body who is interested in installing Polylang should look at Customizr very simple and short explanation.
    Best:)

No problem. We’re SiteOrgin, Customizer is over here: http://doc.themesandco.com/customizr/. The Polylang forum is here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/polylang. Hope you find a solution.
