hello did you check “stretch” option in themes settings>Home option ?

    Hello Jonas Braun,

if I uncheck that box it becomes the orginal size that’s what I want!

but it’s only going for the 50% of the screen but not the whole width of the screen.

and when I make the image 1920px the image is too much strechted

cuz I tryed to add 1920px / 530px height image and then the image get zoomed in and when I try to add 1080px image it’s 50% of the screen

I hope you can help me guys :(

    With kind regards,

I also have a similar question about the meta slider size… I want to know the exact dimensions needed so my image does not get cut off. I used what was suggested 1080 width 420 height, but the height gets cut off when stretched AND not stretched.

Same here I want to know the exact width and height too please

cuz the image is still cutting / strecting out :(

    if I do

Theme – Vantage Flex and turn off the 100% width the image is 100% good but not fit into the screen (width)

and when I do the theme back to default the image is 100% fit into the screen but the image is stretched up :(

    Hi, I Work Here

There are two options here, you can either elect to have your slider not stretched, at 1080px, that way you’ll know exactly how wide your slider image should be. The other option is to have your slider stretch to 100% screen width. In that case there is no correct width of the slider. Our tutorial as with our Vantage demo is based on the idea of separating your text in another layer. Your image then stretches but your text stays fixed:

    http://demo.siteorigin.com/vantage/
    https://siteorigin.com/vantage-documentation/getting-started/slider/

if your slider is 1080px wide but set to stretch to 100% width it is zooming in to maintain aspect ratio. If your slider didn’t do this your image would only stretch on the x axis and look distorted.

In summary, the best option is to separate your background image and text into two layers.

Hi, I have a similar issue. I have set the slider size on 1080 x 500, and my images are 108 x 50 cm large. And I have switched on the stretch option. This looks good on my screen, but on the tablet the lower part of the slider is cut off (http://zahrnt.com/).
    1) Why is that? The aspect ratio could be maintained by stretching both sides.
    2) Is there anything I can do about it? (In your demo version, the lower part of the slide appears to be cut off, too)
