Hi
I’ve added one image to the home page slider but its showing as either too big or cropped.
I have w – 1080, H 420 effect – fade, theme Vantage (flex), and in Advanced
Image Crop – When in…
Standard – Full size but too big,
Smart – Right size but cropped
Disabled – Full size but too big
I have tried checking Stretch and get –
Standard – cropped and too big,
Smart -Full size but too big
Disabled – Full size but too big
I’ve looked through support and nothing seems to help.
I’ve put it back to Smart / Unstretched
Many thanks
Hi Louise
Try the following under Appearance > Custom CSS or in a Custom CSS plugin if you’re running Vantage Free:
Thanks Andrew.
I tried this but I’m afraid it still looks teh same. Should I change any settings too?
Full width sliders are tough to get right. If you’d like to stick with full width you could try separating the text in the slider, save that as a PNG with a transparent background. Then add it as a layer in Meta Slider. It’s what we did for the Vantage demo site: demo.siteorigin.com/vantage/ and outline the method here: https://siteorigin.com/vantage-documentation/slider/.
Alternatively run with a fixed width slider for absolute control over width and height.
Thanks Andrew and sorry for the delay.
Just as a reminder – The site is http://www.henleypilates.co.uk and the image on the home page should look like the one in the top left hand corner of the header.
I was given the image as a complete logo (with the text included) and didn’t add the text myself – do you still think that might be a solution?
The Siteorigin theme only accepts Metaslider, I believe. Can I change Metaslider to be fixed width, or is it possible to add another plugin in some way?
Thanks again..
