Meta slider works great, expect on my phone

I work with Vantage and the meta slider. Works perfectly: on the desktop, on the laptop and tablet. Great!
But on my mobile phone it doesn”t show at all. The navigation dots are there but first in het topmenu and if I scroll down they’re at the bottom of the page. But no slider. Is the some setting I forgot?

    Hi Wendy

    Please send through a link and I’ll take a look.

    You can also try some general troubleshooting steps:

    1. Dashboard > Updates – ensure everything is updated.
    2. Temporarily de-activate all plugins not made by SiteOrigin and MetaSlider. Any change to the problem?

    Andrew,

    Just started this website so there are few plugins. But I’ve deactivated all except the SiteOrigin ones (metaslider and pagebuilder). No updates. Still no slider on my phone. See http://www.biz4u.nl. Not much on it, just a slider (at least in some cases :-) )

    Your slider is appearing on my side in Chrome iOS and Safari iOS. How are you viewing your site?

    On my desktop, laptop and tablet I use Chrome, Slider works fine. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy with Android (browser pre-installed = chrome?…Can’t seem to find out what browser exactly.)

    To figure out where the issue is try adding a Meta Slider to a page and then changing over to the Twenty Fourteen theme. Then re-check on your phone.

    Andrew,

    I added a slider to the “over ons” page and changed the theme to Twenty Fourteen like you said. No slider at all on the desktop or tablet or phone. You can check it.
    PS.
    Can I send you some images on how it looks from this side? I’d like to show you that the navigation dots are on the right side slightly outside the image (desktop, vantage theme…using the twenty fourteen theme the dots are under the images) and two images of how it looks on my phone. Let me know if it is possible to send you something.
    Shouldn’t there also be a “responsive” menu (with the 3 stripes or the three menu items just below each other) visible on the phone? Guess what….nope

    We definitely see a slider in Twenty Fourteen. Please try clearing your browser’s cache. Also check that you don’t have an adblocking extension installed that is perhaps blocking the slider.

    no adblocking extensions, cleared browser’s cache. No changes.The slider you see is the one in the ‘over ons’ page. I see it too (but not on my mobile phone). Changed back to the Vantage theme. No change regarding my phone. On the desktop and tablet the navigation dots of this slider in the ‘over ons’ page are still sticking out on the right hand side. Do you see it too?

    I’ve checked your demo.siteorigin.com/vantage site on my mobile phone and here I see you slider perfectly. Is there something I doing wrong? Should the images be jpg or png or doesn’t that matter? Why doesn’t my slider resize? Getting really frustrated…..

    The reason we temporarily switched to Twenty Fourteen was to try narrow down the issue. Not seeing the slider on your phone when using both Vantage and Twenty Fourteen means the issue is not at a theme level.

    At this stage I’d recommend opening a ticket with Meta Slider and asking their support team if there are any known issues with the default Android browser and Meta Slider.

    I was able to take briefly take a look at your link now, apologies, my last answer related to the slider in our Vantage theme. The thread you were posting on related to the slider in Vantage, not Snapshot, hence the confusion. Opening a fresh thread helps us keep everything as organised as possible.

    Head to Appearance > Theme Settings > Slider and ensure that Home Page Slider is un-checked.

    (Please keep in mind that we operate during office hours, Monday to Friday and our timezone is GMT+2. We do try log time over the weekend but can’t always guarantee it)
