Try to save a slider at 350px wide when it show in preview it shows the right size. When I load my site it reverts back to 1010px and does not save the 350px in the backend.

    Hi Hellzbellz

    This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

    If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

    Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    Hi Hellzbellz

    Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

    Just navigate to UsersAdd New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the Send Password field so we receive the details.

    Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Hi. It should be resolved now.

    We changed the Meta Slider theme to Default instead of Vantage (Flex), inserted the Meta Slider widget into the header widget area and added the following to Appearance > Custom CSS to help header padding:

    /* Header */
    #masthead .hgroup #header-sidebar[style] {
      padding-top: 10px !important;
      padding-bottom: 10px !important;
    }

    ok more troubles I switched to the full page layout and now no matter what meta slider I use it stretches across the full page when I have it set to a fixed width. i would like it to be my fixed width of 1058px

    Solved by accident!!

    I disabled the slider under theme settings and I added it via the page attributes add meta slider on right column. I set it to Nivo slider, using default theme. and it finally works!!! Only thing that is a little problem is the space between the slider and my product categories.

    Hi Frank

    You can fix/change this with some custom CSS. If you navigate to AppearanceCustom CSS, you’ll get our custom CSS editor. Just add the following code.

    /* Home */
    .home #main {
    padding-top: 0;
    }

    You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor.
