Hi there,
I need a help with the anchor link jumps when being used after clicking on a menu voice.
When I click MARCHI directly from the home page, it jumps exactly where it should, but as soon as I click on the same menu voice MARCHI from another page, it jumps somewhere else.
Does anybody know what am I doing wrong?
Many thanks
Maria
Hi Mária,
Okay, so this sort of movement is fairly typical when using JavaScript heavy widgets. It’s not something that can really be bypassed very easily. Thankfully, your theme’s preloader should allow for most people to never see this issue.
With that said, you may be able to avoid this by installing Page scroll to id and using that instead of the browser’s scroll funcitonality. Once installed, please navigate to WP AdminSettingsPage scroll to id and tick Enable on WordPress Menu Links. Set the Offset to #masthead. How does that look?
Hi Alex,
thanks for your reply. I installed the plugin, enabled WP Menu Links and set the Offset to #masthead.
Sorry for the stupid question, but should I also change the link in the navigation menu (not really sure if I understand what to do with this: a[rel=’m_PageScroll2id’])
Now it’s jumping to the page bottom.
Any suggestion?
Hi Mária,
Sorry for the delay.
Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look at your settings?

Hi Alex,
would you have a look for me? That’s awesome, thanks :)
Sorry, but my custom CSS is super unorganized, it’s because I’m new and sometimes I don’t even know what I’m doing. I always do only few CSS customizations and I haven’t learn yet how to organize them.
M.
Hi Mária,
Unfortunately, I can’t seem to replicate the previously described issue. Is this issue still occurring? if so, can you please try replicating it in another browser?
