I would like to move the menu from the top of the page to the left side, running down the page?
Like on this site … http://fimply.de/

Origami unfortunately only has a single menu location at the top of the page. At the moment none of our themes have a left column menu.
In the event you’d like to customise Origami to your own requirements we recommend http://codeable.io/. But in this case it might be best to find a theme that suits your needs right out the box.
