Hello,

I’m using your Vantage Theme and have just upgraded to WordPress 4.0 but there’s a problem with new images I’m trying to upload to the media library. The old images are all there but any new image I upload doesn’t display a thumbnail neither does it show up on my website.

I’ve uploaded the same images to other Worpress sites running different themes and there’s no problem so I assume it must be the theme. Can you please help??

    Hi Keith

    Thanks for running Vantage. Please try temporarily de-activating all plugins not made by SiteOrigin and then re-test. If the issue is resolved please re-activate your plugins one by one while checking the issue.

    Thanks for the response. I tried what you suggested but it didn’t work. Still the same issue.

    Thanks for your feedback.

    You could try switching over to a default theme like Twenty Fourteen and re-check, this would help narrow the challenge down.

    Hi Andrew,

    I’ve tried your latest suggestion (resetting the uploads folder permissions) but it still hasn’t worked. Problem persists.

    Does the issue persist with a default theme like Twenty Fourteen activated?

    Yes, I’ve deactivated all the plugins and tried the Twenty Fourteen theme. Still the same problem.
