Margin property overriding

well, i am trying to remove the margin-bottom : 30 from individual elements. [i have 1 row with 2 hero widgets one below the other, they have a gap within them. i wanna remove that]

the only way possible it seems, is to specifically mention “widget_sow-hero” class and override it in custom css, which seems a bit messy.

My ideal solution would have been possible to add and override the css. I tried adding the css in the row attribute as well as the widget attribute, but then it it applied to the parent, child receptively but not to the cell element that gives it the margin property.

let me know if i’m missing something here

thanks
Rohit

    Hi Rohit

    This sounds similar to Thread: Custom css order issue. Let’s chat there.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    As i mentioned there it a pretty diffrent level of issue, which i am unable to resolve using “!improtant”

    my css is :

    .removemarginbottom {
      margin-bottom: 0px !important;
    }

    so
    1) i applied the css to row attribute in the page builder
    row attribute

    the resultant render is
    1n2

    2) i tried applying the css to the row element, specifically the tow row, as the gap is existing from the margin-bottom property
    toprowelement

    the resultant render is
    3n4

    3) the issue is the “margin-bottom : 30px” is not part of those element, but the element in the middle as highlighted here
    problem

    My setup is :
    setup

    my issue is :
    issuse

    it get removed on disabling the line i showed in the problem screenshot, that has the margin value

    I believe this value is part of the auto generated grid data by the pagebuilder.
    There needs to be an elegant way to resolve this

    thanks

    Hi Rohit

    Can we perhaps resolve your other thread first and then move onto any issues you have outstanding. Thanks :)
