Making Theme Widgets Page Builder Compatible – how exactly?

10 years ago · Last reply by bikebone 10 years ago

Hello,

I’m not the savviest WordPress User. I use the theme «Enfold» and would like some additional customization features that I think SiteOrigin brings.

I’d like to follow the path you recommend to ensure that my widgets are PageBuilder compatible:
This is usually as simple as hooking your existing enqueue function to siteorigin_panel_enqueue_admin_scripts action.

Unfortunately I do not know where to enter the code you offer to do that. What file do I copy that script/code in?

thanks for any hints!

    Hi bikebone,

This is generally something the widget developers themselves would need to add. I assume you’re talking about widgets that come bundled with another theme? So you’d need to ask the developers of that theme to make sure their widgets are Page Builder compatible.

    Thanks for your reply, Greg,

I had in mind that I could do that myself somewhere in the functions.php or some such file – but I’m a total noob so that was maybe a bad idea.

    Keep it up!
