Make menu item non-clickable

I have a menu item with sub items and would like the main menu item to be non-clickable.

Example: you have a menu item called Attractions and sub menu items like Rollercoasters, Shops, Glides, etc. It should be possible to click on one of the sub menu items, but it should not be possible to click on Attractions.

Is this possible?

    Hi wouteryibs

Add a Link item instead of a Page. Once the Link item has been added remove the URL. It needs to be done in that order.

    Hello Andrew,

Works great, thanks! I added the link item in Appearance -> Menu. Is it still possible to have a menu icon when you are working with link items?

You can with the following plugin:

Let me know if you need help with the padding on that icon after it’s been added.
