I am trying to upload my logo to my site http://labelvlook.co.uk/, however I have now attempted to upload the logo 13 times and cannot get it. I do nt understand whats going so wrong… either it takes over the entire page and is huge or its a reasonable size (as it is the now) but appears pixelated.
I am exporting my logo from illustrator a png to maintain a clear back ground, my sister suggested exporting as a jpeg but I do not want a white box around the logo obviously.
Can someone please help I am getting so frustrated.

Influence will render your logo at the size uploaded so you’ll need to export it at the size you’d like to display it at. Your logo image is currently 800 x 197 and being displayed at that size.
Here is your logo as it is stored in your media library: http://labelvlook.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/LAST-CHANCE.png. As you can see it has jagged edges before being loaded into the header.
I don’t work in Illustrator enough to say what’s the problem but both problems originate from the image.
PNG as a format for logo is 100%.
Okay but if i inspect the size of the banner that gives me a size of 1903 x 268 px, so I could make the logo that size but then it would appear huge on smaller screens as the header size shrinks surely? I am still very confused.
I would like the logo to appear the size it is right now but without my jaggy edges, how do I do that what size should I set the logo at?

I have just uploaded an updated version of the logo, it is 800 x 197px and it has covered the whole page and distorted.

I worked it out!!!! I am so happy! so it was the way I was exporting from illustrator, rather than export I had to go to save for web in the file menu! Thank crunchie that was really peeing me off.
