Logo in menu issues

By Bucko, 8 years ago. Last reply by SiteOrigin, 8 years ago.

This is a duplicate post, I saw the Premium feature too late.

Dear SO,

First off thanks for the Vantage theme, I’ve used it for various websites over the last year and love it!

At the moment I’m building a site where I want

1) the logo in the menu
2) the search icon to align at the top with the menu items
3) my social buttons from Jetpack to appear in the header
4) my logo left-padding slightly increased

All the above is configured where possible and I’ve fiddled around with some CSS examples from your forum but can’t find the solution. This is what I’m currently looking at:

Can you guys help me out to get this cleaned up?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Bucko

    Thanks for your support.

Give the following plugin a try:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/widgets-in-menu/

It’ll let you add a widget area to the menu. You can use that to add the Jetpack Social Media icons to the menu.

If you change your site over to “Logo in Menu” and let us know once that’s done, we can assist further with the alignment challenges.

    Hi there,

this item can be closed, I solved it by taking logo out of the menu

I do have a new question though but I’ll open a new call for that.

    Thanks
    Bucko
