The plugin doesn’t work correctly and I think I need to load JavaScript. I read https://siteorigin.com/docs/page-builder/widget-compatibility/, but I don’t understand how I must do it (where I must put the code, etc). I never did before and I need “a guide for children” (or for dummies… step by step). Can you help me? Thank you.

Hi Mariavera
Thanks for reaching out. The page you’ve referenced is a developer guide. Are you building a plugin or theme? If not, and you’re just trying to use Page Builder then the documentation you need is here:
Page: Getting Started With Page Builder
If you’re getting a warning about saving and re-loading the page and that warning never goes away, please, try a plugin conflict test. I’ll send details for that shortly.
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
Ok, I’ve disabled all non-SiteOrigin plugins and the issue continues… Two days ago the issue was different, all content was out of position (it was moved to the right). Now I use ‘full width’ configuration for every row (before too) and doesn’t show correctly. You can see it, it’s all in the center. I thought it was problem with JavaScript because I use a photo plugin (other author) and it has problems too… And the template author says me I must load JavaScript manually for any plugins… I’m going crazy…
Thank you
Note: Sorry for my english.
No problem. Please, go to Appearance > Theme Settings > Layout and disable the setting that says Force Full Width. Does that help ?
I don’t find the option ‘force full width’… I’m using MISC Theme, maybe you mean another template?
Yes, sorry, I meant our Vantage theme. Please, send your URL se we can see the problem.
Yes, provisionally is http://rojasbox-cp160.wordpresstemporal.com/. I’m using Page Builder in the section ‘SOBRE MI’ (guy icon).
Try going to Settings > Page Builder > Layout and change Full Width Container to:
Also, try clearing the cache in your caching plugin and then de-activate it. Any change? Something else to test.

Sure. So to confirm, the problem is that you can’t make rows full width? Have you tried Full Width – Stretched?

Thanks.
How Page Builder is meant to function is Full Width allows background color to be full width but not content. Only Full Width Stretched allows full width content. If you have no background color then you won’t see any difference between Default or Full Width.
Checking now.
Please, confirm the login url, thanks.
I might need to pick this up with you tomorrow as I’m heading towards the end of my work session here in Cape Town.
I’m not able to access the regular login page, perhaps you can confirm the login page link.
Thanks

Thanks :) I’m getting a 403 forbidden error. Any chance you have a plugin that is geo-restricting us?
I tried to Proxy in from another country but that didn’t help either.
Ehmm… nop. I’ve desactivated all except SiteOrigin plugins… Now does it work?
Mmm, tough one. I just see:
Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/ on this server.
Do you think there could be IP whitelisting? Perhaps done outside of WordPress?
I sent a ticket to hosting administrator. Maybe it’s a problem with geographic lock… I notice when is resolved. Thank you so much for everything.

Thanks, the last site and details worked.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like Page Builder is able to achieve full width stretched in this theme. Page Builder uses JavaScript to achieve this effect. It’s not working with this theme. It might be a container issue or a direct JavaScript conflict. I’ve logged this as a bug. Unfortunately, I don’t have a hotfix.
Hi Andrew, and can I load JavaScript for this plugin? Maybe with this solution? https://siteorigin.com/docs/page-builder/widget-compatibility/
Ok, don’t worry. Finally I’m going to use other template. Thank you so much for all. You’re a crack :)
Thanks for your understanding. If anything else comes up, let me know.
