Limit Posts in Build Post Query

Hello there.

I am trying to build a sidebar widget in the POST LOOP widget that displays the 3 latest posts in a custom taxonomy.

All works fine, except that I cannot limit the display – it lists, or paginates, all 60 posts in the taxonomy.

I have tried “limit=3” (both with and without quotes) in the “Additional” field but it makes no difference

    As far as I can see, the get_posts syntax doesn’t allow for limiting the number of posts. Unfortunately we’re only able to support what get_posts supports.

    It is a little odd that there isn’t some sort of limit argument though. Maybe this will be added in the future.
