I would like some of my pages to have a left sidebar. And some of them I would like to have no sidebar.
I have already programmed my woocommerce pages to have a left sidebar with this:
/* Vantage Display Left Sidebar */
.blog #primary,
.archive #primary,
.single #primary,
.default #primary,
.page #primary,
.woocommerce-page #container {
float: right; }
.blog #secondary,
.archive #secondary,
.single #secondary,
.default #secondary,
.page #secondary {
float: left; }
}
I found on the forum and it worked great.
I am trying the page builder but it seems that some of my pages already have a sidebar that I didn’t create.
Hi Keyundra
Thanks for your support.
Pages using the Default page template will display the sidebar widget area. The page template can set using the drop down menu in the right column when editing each page.
If you need to control sidebar widget visibility for posts you can use Jetpack Widget Visibility.
The sidebar can be globally shifted to the left from Appearance > Customize > Theme Design > Sidebar > Sidebar Position.
The CSS rule you listed above were offered to users using Vantage Free (without the premium Customizer section) or perhaps, to Vantage users before the sidebar position option was added to the premium Customizer.
I am trying the page builder but it seems that some of my pages already have a sidebar that I didn’t create.
Please, send a link to a page concerned and we’ll take a look. Thanks.
Thanks. It’s fixed.
Thanks for the update. Glad to hear you’ve made progress.
