I have plugins that do not hold the selection made on any of the radio button options.
Once save is clicked the widget does not save it reverts to the default
I contacted the widget developer and below it’s his answer.
Widgets are on the top page showing slides of different products

They are all supposed to be showing different categories but as you can see they all show the same category
Please advise
The issue is caused by the way that theme adds the widget to your home page. I have never seen widgets added like this before – it is not WordPress Codex – that is what the widget.php menu is for. As developer you create the Widget areas in that widget.php not in theme.php – The issue is in the get widget control panel.
It is the check box settings on our widget that you theme cannot get (save)
The way that theme adds the widgets directly to the home page and opens the widget admin panel by pop-up it cannot save radio button settings. On our plugin we use 3 lots of radio button settings
Show Type:
O Category O Tag O On Sale
O Manual Scroll
O Auto Scroll
Effect
O Scroll Up
O Scroll Down
O Scroll Left
O Scroll Right
O Fade
None of those settings will save when you change them see screenshot

If I add the Facebook Follow widget you will see it also has 2 radio button settings – these can’t save either. See screenshot

I have the very same issue and can’t find a solution.
Did you fixed yours?
