I’m aware that mp4 is not working on Firefox, but on Safari (Mac) but on an iPad the video is not playing.

1. I learned that mobile devices are excluded, due to they are not allowed to auto play in background.
2. How do i setup a background image only for mobile devices (and having the video playing on non mobile systems)?

This unfortunately might be an issue we have pending for fix. You can confirm for us by adding your video and then additionally specifying a background image. The background image is the fallback. What we’ve seen recently is that when the image is added it’s overriding the video.

I added a background image (.png) in the frame with the background video.
Safari: continued to play the video!
Firefox: now showed the background image
Safari mobile (iPad): did also show the background image.
Fine that the background image did not take over in Safari
