iPad Image Display Issues

Hi there,

I’m having a few issues with my website, specifically when displayed on an iPad portrait and landscape view. Any widget containing images, for example – portfolio pieces, portfolio slider, logo line ups, will at some point glitch and then begin to overlap each other and repeat the same image across the whole widget space. I have a screenshot to explain this a little bit better.

Few extra issues I’m having:
– Parallaxes don’t seem to work well for mobile either, the image won’t adapt to mobile space.
– Homepage Headline Widget, the background video doesn’t show on mobile even with OGG and MP4URL links

I’ve been trying a couple of things for a while and can’t seem to fix these issues.

If anyone can help that would be the best!

Thank you.

    Hi Vsiri,

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Vsiri,

Regarding the video, you’ll need to reach out to the developers of the video Background plugin you’re using. Consider switching to the SiteOrigin Hero widget or SiteOrigin Layout Slider widget which include background video support and will work on mobile once it’s enabled. You can enable the videos to appear on mobile by opening the Hero or Layout Slider widget and open the Slider Controls settings. Tick Show slide background videos on mobile and save.

Regarding the Parallax, Unfortunately, you’ll need to reach out to theme developers for assistance with this as the theme you’re using is using a custom parallax.
