Integrating Your Themes with Already made site

By michael 45, 4 years ago. Last reply by Andrew Misplon, 4 years ago.

Hi, I have a site related to footwear products, it is primarily an affiliate blog but I am adding a WooCommerce based shop to it.
Here is my concern
I do not want to touch my existing site and remain it as it is but I want /shop/* pages to have theme purchased from you (woocommerce there)? Is it possible to use two different themes? I am previously using Genesis from Blog….I have one solution which is to install new WordPress at /shop but If there is any way to do this without installing new WP in that folder, then please tell.
Thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Michael

    Thanks for reaching out.

As far as I’m aware, another WordPress installation would be required. Alternatively, you could convert your existing installation into a multi-site WordPress install and then at least manage plugin updates from a central location.

Alternatively, it might be possible to use a single WordPress installation using a plugin. Here is a tutorial on the topic https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/how-to-use-multiple-themes-for-pages-in-wordpress/.
