Hi,
After I installed the update of Page Builder via the update option in the plugin page of WordPress, page builder disappeared from my install and I can’t seem to be able to get it back.
If I try to reinstall it via Theme options or any other way, it says that the directory already exists.
What should I do?

I am still looking at the site and just realized that every plugin I updated disappeared. Including meta slider, contact form 7 and a few others.
Really scary…
I checked with Filezilla and the folders are there, but each and every forder is empty of the affected plugins.
I was able to fix the problem by manually uploading the plugins via ftp, but I would really like to know what caused this. Now I’m scared to update Vantage….
Hi Dorka,
That’s odd. This is a unique case and will keep an eye on this subject for further analysis. You should not be scared doing updates :-) we are always here for you whenever support is need.
Am glad you managed to get around this. As a rule of thumb always have a complete backup of your site before making any major changes.
Thank you
I make backups, but I didn’t consider upgrading plugins a major change up until now :)
What I would really like to know is where this weird problem originates from. Like is it a WordPress issue, Vantage or what?
Hi Dorka,
That was a unique situation so it is hard to say if our Vantage theme or if WordPress caused the problem with the page builder update. But we will keep an eye out for this issue if anyone else experiences it.
Cheers! :)
