Page Builder operates within the content container that regular page and post content is inserted into. That container is almost always constrained. It might be possible for a theme to somehow get around that. At this stage none of our themes can do this. If the theme in question could do this it would need to be specifically designed for Page Builder, the feature would appear as a Row Style.
So the short answer is unfortunately, no, there is no way within Page Builder to get around the constraint of the theme’s content container.
