Hi,
From the installation notes, I saw that we could upgrade, Influence by signing up to the newsletter. I am already receiving your newsletters. How can I receive an upgraded version of Influence?
Kind regards,
Dennis

Hi Dennis
Sorry, we didn’t actually send out proper instructions on this. In your WordPress admin, with our Influence theme installed, navigate to Appearance > Influence Plus. Click download, enter your details and our system will send you a copy of the Influence Plus plugin along with some installation instructions.
Hi Greg,
Many thanks for the instuctions. I will give them a try.
Regards,
Dennis
Hi Guys,
Tried to upgrade influence but there doesn’t appear to be a style sheet included which snafu’s any automated theme upgrade
This file is a standard plugin that adds functionality to Influence. Navigate to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress admin. Then click upload and select/upload the zip file.
Now that’s what I call a quick response. Good looking theme by the way; still think you should have given us a clue that it was a plugin and not an upgrade to the theme itself but that’s being a churlish given that it’s a freebie.
Thanks Chris. It’s a little bit of a departure from our usual design style, so glad to hear we still hit the mark.
There is an installation note in the Influence Plus download email we send out, but we’ve had this question a lot today, so we’ll work on a few ways of making it a little more obvious. Maybe another note in the on the download page.
The Influence upgrade folder I received was not a zip file. In the downloads folder of my iMac is a folder with the title “Plus-Influence” . Inside that folder is another folder with the title “Customizer” as well as five individual .php files. Inside the “Customizer” folder is another folder with the title “js” and two more .php files. Inside the “js” folder are two .js files.
Since there is not .zip file I am unclear as tow which file to attempt to install.
Hi Chuck
Chances are you’re running Safari. Here is how you can stop it doing that:

Due to our strong forum prioritisation system it’s important to open a new thread for future assistance:
Page: New Thread
As we don’t always catch these updates on resolved threads. We will work on that though.
Hope this helps.
