Infinite Scrolling – Vantage Theme

Hey Greg (and other SiteOrigin fans),

I’m working on adding infinite scroll onto the blog archive (grid layout) page, and will post more when I figure it out. It would be GREAT if anyone could share their insight or ongoing workings. Two heads are better than one.

There are some infinite scroll plugins that work for the default layout, but trying to incorporate the grid system seems to be a little more complex. It would be great to add this feature.

Thanks in advanced!

Try this, by default this plugin works with Blog layout and inserts all the necessary classes: http://wordpress.org/plugins/infinite-scroll/. Change the “Item Selector” to

    .vantage-grid-loop

and it should work with the grid layout.

    HI there,

I am interested in doing exactly this and making 1 big pagebuilder page but controlling the number of items loaded with the Jetpack infinite scroll feature. The reason I want to use Jetpack is the plugin that is mentioned above has not been updated in a while and I am sure doesn’t have the continued support that jetpack will have. Sorry I am super new to wordpress so not sure of the implications but in my experience relying on old or unsupported plugins for core site functionality is risky. Will this work with Jetpack and if so your help in getting get it running will be much appreciated.
