Hi siteorigin team !
Hope you’re doing well !!
Thanks fo the amazing job you’re doing, Page builder is one of my favorite plugin on wordpress!
I work a lot on many sites with page builder and i can submit you some suggestion to improve it.
Apologize for my english, i’m a french guy.

Widget title level option
Add in each widget a level option for the title in order to choose wether it’s a h1, h2, h3, h4… title.
The main option in the page builder settings is too generic…
——— 2 ————–
Row title
The problem is, if you want a title for the full row with several columns under you can’t do it properly.
Allow to put a title for the entire row and choose the title level is a good solution.
Because actually to do that you need to add a row with 1 column, put an editor with your title,
then add another row with the columns with your content.
OR
you can add a page builder widget in a row (make a page-builder’ception) with your title inside.
That’s not efficient, in both cases there is a visual gap because of the default margin of the row.
And in the second case that’s not user friendly at all and a lot of extra code is added to the page just for a title…

Row and widget margin/padding
Actually for a row we have these options:
– margin bottom
– global padding
– gutter width
It could be very useful to have full customisation of all padings and margins.
And the best of all would be to change it visually :)
Something like this
——— 4 ————–
A kind of page builder object to create sub row in a row instead of puting a page builder widget in a row that allow to put widget inside without opening it.
Something like this
All of these proposition are turning around the same point : more flexibility in the layout.
Note : The 4 resolve a big part of the 3.
Thanks for reading :)
Hi Morkibut
Thanks for reaching out and for your support. We really appreciate the detailed feedback you’ve provided. I’ll be sure to share it with our developers.
For item three, the global padding option will accept four values as follows:
For example
Hope that helps a little. All of your other points are very valid, thanks again.
Nie to know about the padding values !
Thanks a lot !
I'll try to submit more detailled suggestion in the future.
Have a good day, and keep your excellent work going on !
Thanks again for your detailed input. I’ve passed your ideas and created a log of the requests. All the best with your future projects :)
To use a title for a row, example: Local News / National News, I’ve been using a SiteOrigin Button but rather have a title for an area of the page – it does not necessarily need to be a row title, unless a row title can allow the editor to add more row titles for the same row.
I would feel comfortable with the SiteOrigin Button for a row or column title if could option hyperlink = off/on.
