My photos are in the library, the html hasn’t changed, but the photos don’t show up anymore. As of a few days ago, they were there. I updated to 4.0 and the plugins to no avail, then deleted the plugins. Still no help. My theme is Origami Premium. When will this be fixed? It’s nothing I’ve done to cause it and I’m not very happy about this. Thanks.

    Hi Samantha

    Sorry to hear about this.

Have you perhaps changed urls recently? You can check those settings under Settings > General. For example, the image on your About page has the following url:

    http://www.nancyogorman.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/blu-gr-header21.jpg

Is that correct? If you enter that url into your browser you’ll see there isn’t an image available there.

Oops. Operator error, of course. What happened is that the above URL is what I used to put the site together before going live with its own URL. After a while, I deleted the files in that old site so I could use it for something else, not knowing it was needed for directing images to the new site. My quandary now is how to get the missing images back up to the montessori site. Any help with that will be greatly appreciated. And thanks for this quick reply, too.

I just figured it out, Andrew. I’m substituting the correct URL and that’s doing the trick! Thanks again for your help.

Glad to hear you made progress here. My suggestion would unfortunately have been to go through each page/post and manually change the urls to their new locations.

All the best for your site.

I did that, and it only took a few minutes. Thanks again for your help.

Now that I have your attention :-) ….. I have another site with photos. When I first put it together, I had to put in a number of photos each page could hold. After the fact, I wanted to put on more but couldn’t figure out how. So a page with 30 photos has to go to Page 2 for just five more photos. You can see it here:

How do I make Page 1 allow at least 5 more photos on it?
    Thanks.

That looks to be a NextGen Gallery so I’d imagine the setting you’re looking for is in the shortcode. You might need to re-insert that gallery and check the settings as you’re inserting it. I don’t have too much experience with this plugin but I’d imagine it’s a gallery setting controlling this.

OK, I’ll try it later. Thanks.
