Images in row not responsive on iPad and iPhone

When I insert multiple images in a row, everything appears fine on laptop in landscape mode. But when I open the page on the iPad in portrait mode, the images don’t show up in a row. They show up one of top of the other vertically with one image on each row, aligned left.

When I open the page in iPhone, the images are on top of each other vertically in both portrait and landscape mode.

Also, in portrait, the row of images run into the text in an entirely new row below them in a separate text widget.
